After having spent a lot of time in the forests of Sweden and while also being drawn to heavy repetitive music in his youth, it didn’t take long for Filip aka Somnus before feeling an urge to share all the unheard tales of the forests to the world.

Somnus plays a wide variety of dark and forest psychedelic music, depending on the time he is playing and what kind of party it is.

What caught his attention and stuck ever since is a more dizzy and experimental forest sound that is unpredictable.

You could describe his sound as murky, groovy and funky, filled with powerful soundscapes and mind boggling leads.
